Clarecastle Community Development meet Michael Ring T.D.

Members of Clarecastle Community Development Board and the Heritage and Wildlife Committee met briefly with Michael Ring T.D. Another wonderful piece of history unveiled

The Old School opposite the Church in Clarecastle dates to 1843. Ger Dillon recently mentioned that there had been  a plaque on the building but that it had been plastered over for the past 50 years or so. That led us to examine old photographs. New signage at the quay

Clarecastle & Ballyea Heritage & Wildlife Group  are delighted that after many months of planning their wildlife and historical signs have just been erected  on the quay in Clarecastle.
