Generous donation very gratefully received by Men’s Shed

Clarecastle Men’s Shed, a sub-group of Clarecastle Community Development Company, recently took delivery of an Elektra Beckum PKF 255 V8 table saw with ancillary dust extraction capability. This equipment was generously donated by Martin, Lorraine Mc Namara and family, Lissane, Clarecastle.

Mr Paschal Russell, Clarecastle Men’s Shed Chairperson, thanked the Mc Namara family for their very generous gesture. “This is a significant addition to our wood processing equipment and will greatly facilitate our Shedders achieve even greater efficiencies as they continue to extend their wood based product range”, commented Mr Russell. Martin Mc Namara, whose late father (Mickey) was a skilled carpenter of renown, said his family were delighted to be associated with the Men’s Shed and wished them well in their endeavours as they continue with the tradition of carpentry and wood turning in the Village.
